Education in City (Urban Area) / Education in Village (Rural Area)

The Education Between City (Urban Community) and Village (Rural Community) in Indonesia

preliminary

Age education as old as age of human culture. Education has begun since human beings are present on earth. At first, the purpose of education is simply to prepare the young generation to survive in the wider community. Therefore, the form is inheriting the insights, knowledge, and skills necessary for survival to the next generation.

Villagers have the same opportunities as urban communities to get education. Educational opportunities opened by the government as wide for rural and urban communities. In fact, the fighting spirit of the villagers is higher than the urban community. Because the urban people think that education in the village is not so advanced because of lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Because education in villages with dikota much different. The people of the village are all very difficult, if it is still elementary school may not be too difficult to reach the school, but once the junior high school has started some distance. And high school until it must drive five kilometers from the village to the City.

Reality of Education Differences In City and Education In The Village

Education in Village (Rural Area)
Education in City (Urban Area)

In a village there is a kindergarten and kindergarten school that occupies an elementary school room with a dull brown bench, while the teacher teaches reading, writing and arithmetic like an elementary school child. More worryingly, the teacher graduated from junior high school and never received a teacher education. Whereas the presence of a kindergarten is very necessary, because education through kindergarten serves to lay the foundations that are important for the development of children completely. This period is the 'golden period' for the process of character formation of children. Paul Meier, a Christian psychiatrist stated that up to the age of 6, 85% of the child's character has been formed. Another study conducted by Benjamin S. Bloom reinforces this view. Bloom states that 50% of potential children are formed until the age of 5 years and another 30% will be formed until the age of 8 years. But if we look at the number of Kindergarten in Indonesia, it only serves a small part of the number of children at this age. Actually, villagers have the same opportunities as urban communities to get education. Educational opportunities opened by the government as wide for rural and urban communities. In fact, the fighting spirit of the villagers is higher than the urban community.
Although the facilities in the village are inadequate, but actually away from the facility itself becomes a very good learning for the village children because they are accustomed to hard work, challenges, and to not be discouraged. That's the benefit of the village community. Villagers tend to be insecure. villagers actually have a high strength and endurance for a variety of problems and shocks. Much higher than the urban community, it should be utilized excess.

Conclusions

So education is the same, but because the government's weakness to overcome education in the village may be the one in the village to be left behind. Therefore why do most villagers migrate to the city? Because in the city all the necessary facilities are always there, and it is not difficult to find them. So the government is actually making fair education throughout Indonesia, because education has a big influence will advance the withdrawal of the State. Because with education we can change it and with education also we can develop the potential of a person with as much.
